Sensor Supply 1 Circuit - Power Generation Engin
Circuit Description
Sensor supply 1 from the engine control module (ECM) provides 5-VDC supply for the engine oil rifle pressure 1 sensor on the engine harness. This 5-VDC supply also powers two optional original equipment manufacturer (OEM) devices. The two devices are, remote accelerator pedal or lever position sensor, and OEM pressure sensor.
Component Location
The sensor supply 1 is located in the ECM. The supply voltage is spliced off in the engine and OEM harness to each sensor it supports.
Shop Talk
Low voltage on the 5-VDC supply wire can be caused by a short to ground in a supply wire, a short circuit between a SUPPLY wire and a RETURN wire, a damaged sensor, or a damaged battery 1 voltage.
Refer to Troubleshooting Fault Code t05-352.
