Engine Oil Burn Valve Solenoid Driver Circuit


Circuit Description


The engine oil burn valve solenoid driver controls the flow of oil in the oil control valve during the burn cycle.


Component Location


Refer to the OEM service manual for the engine oil burn valve solenoid driver location.


Shop Talk

This fault can be caused by the following:


  • A damaged Centinelâ„¢ burn valve

  • A short circuit to ground on the output device driver wire

  • A short circuit from pin to pin in the output device driver wire.


Refer to Troubleshooting Fault Code t05-223.
