P2148 / P2151 (Malfunction of injector solenoid valve drive system common 1/2, +B circuit)
A subject vehicle may exhibit an illuminated check engine lamp with DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) P2148
and/or P2151. The engine ECU software may falsely detect an issue and record these DTC’s in the engine ECU.
Revised engine ECU software has been made available to prevent this false detection. If DTC P2148 and/or
P2151 are recorded in the engine ECU, reprogram the ECU to the software level listed in this bulletin.
